Meet Mary Pat Forkin, MD, Family Medicine
Dr. Mary Pat Forkin brings over 30 years of compassionate, patient-centered care to the field of Family Medicine. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana before earning her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During her residency at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, she was honored to serve as Chief Resident and went on to become board certified in Family Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Forkin has cared for patients across Central Indiana, both as a family physician and in emergency medicine. Her passion lies in preventive care, with a special focus on heart disease prevention and advanced cholesterol testing. She believes that every patient deserves personal attention, timely appointments, and a trusted advocate in their healthcare journey.
Dr. Forkin is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. Her approach ensures continuity of care, whether you need a routine check-up, urgent care, or support managing a chronic condition. Coming from a large family herself, Dr. Mary Pat understands the value of strong, healthy families. She is a proud mother of five and grandmother of three—and counting! Her life experiences shape her warm, relatable approach to medicine.
